3 Lessons from Vito Tassone

From time to time I ask some of my friends and broader network of creative leaders a simple question:

If you could offer a young, emerging designer three lessons from your career, what would they be?

Vito Tassone runs a successful creative studio called The White Room and also works as a Strategic Designer at Huddle.

He's spent a shit-load of time on the Agda council with me and has now become one of my dearest friends.

Job Title: Strategic Communication Designer/Lead Conceptualiser

Three lessons from Vito:

  1. Be strategic in your thinking.

  2. Always ask why.

  3. Your value as a designer is the way you look at a design brief and use empathy to come up with a solution.

If you'd like to hear three lessons from a designer you admire, let me know and I'll get in touch with them. I've got a whole lot planned so keep an eye out for more lessons.
